Cancellation & Refund Policy — Socotra Trip
First Payment (Deposit – 20%)
• Non-refundable under any circumstance. This deposit secures your spot and covers early reservation and operational costs.
Cancellations made on or before 6 December 2025
• 50% of the total amount paid (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
• Refunds will not include any transaction or processing fees.
Cancellations made between 7 December and 24 December 2025
• 25% of the total amount paid (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
• Refunds will not include any transaction or processing fees.
Cancellations made on or after 25 December 2025
• No refund will be issued, as all bookings and services will have been finalized and fully paid by this stage.
Transfer of Booking – Socotra Trip
If a participant is unable to join the trip for any reason and has made a partial or full payment that is no longer refundable under the Cancellation & Refund Policy, they may nominate a substitute participant to take their place—provided the transfer request is submitted in writing no later than 20 December 2025.
It is the sole responsibility of the original participant to find and propose a suitable replacement. TheFive is not obligated to assist in sourcing a substitute, and all transfers are subject to review and approval by TheFive.
If the transfer is approved and the substitute completes full payment, a refund may be issued to the original participant—excluding the non-refundable deposit, transaction fees, and any non-recoverable costs already incurred, such as international flights, visa fees, travel insurance, or third-party bookings.
