The Sea of Cortez boasts the greatest diversity of whale species anywhere on Earth. Orcas are present year-round, and with a bit of luck, we may encounter one of the area’s resident pods. From May to June, the waters come alive with the breathtaking sight of Mobula rays. Throughout the year, we also have the chance to see sperm whales, playful dolphins, and curious sea lions.
However, as with all wildlife experiences, sightings are never guaranteed—nature is wonderfully unpredictable.
